Scenic World
Scenic World in Katoomba first found fame for its almost vertical, cliff-hugging scenic railway. This exhilarating ride kept visitors returning with such regularity that it has now expanded to include 3 more spectacular, and potentially hair-raising, experiences and a slew of events.
Ride the glass-floored Skyway and get a bird’s-eye view of valleys, rainforests and ravines. Or take the 545 metre Cableway and gently descend to the Jamison Valley floor to stroll through the rainforest along a 2.5 km boardwalk.
Scenic world regularly hosts special events such as Sculpture at Scenic World and Dinosaur World. Fun for everyone, but a must visit for families.
