We’re delighted to occasionally welcome well-behaved dogs at The Lodge, with prior approval. To help your pup feel at home, a complimentary Kanimbla Companion Pack is provided for use during your stay. This includes a lead, dog towel, food and water bowls, a travel mat that doubles as a dog bed, and a small hand-made treat.
Mt Kanimbla Retreats is also home to abundant native wildlife, so a few simple guidelines help ensure a peaceful stay for everyone, including our resident animals.
- Wildlife First: Our property is home to wallabies, wombats and echidnas, along with our resident ponies. Please ensure dogs do not chase, approach or disturb wildlife.
- On Lead Outdoors: Dogs must be kept on lead at all times when outside.
- Supervision: Dogs should be supervised outdoors and must not roam freely around the property.
- Furniture & Bedding: To keep the Lodge comfortable for all guests, please keep dogs off beds, couches and soft furnishings.
- Keeping Things Peaceful: If your dog becomes a little too enthusiastic outdoors, please bring them inside so everyone can continue enjoying the quiet surroundings.
Terms and Conditions: Please contact us if you are staying at The Lodge and would like to bring your pet, our pet policy waiver will need to be signed in advance of your stay. We kindly ask that the Kanimbla Companion Pack items remain at the Lodge for future four-legged guests to enjoy, and that they are returned to their usual place before check-out. An additional $100 cleaning fee may apply and further fees may be charged if excessive dog hair is found on linen or furniture.

If the stay is higher in value than the voucher amount, the difference is payable at the time of booking. Vouchers are non-refundable but fully transferable. Blackout dates may apply during peak periods and public holidays. Vouchers must be mentioned at the time of booking and the code provided. Cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost vouchers can be reissued to the original purchaser.
